Manchester United midfielder Cobby Mineau is reportedly open to leaving the club this summer.

According to an Athletic report, Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim appears to prefer other midfielders over young people.

There are no specific offers yet at the table for the young people. It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds.

The 20-year-old must play regularly at this stage of his career, and Manchester United cannot offer him the opportunity. It makes sense for him to go ahead looking for regular football now.

Amorim once praised Mainoo

Recently, Reuben Amorim revealed at a press conference that he has big plans for the talented young midfielder.

The sudden change in posture certainly makes me surprised now. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can provide the 20-year-old with the opportunities he needs to develop.

He is certainly a promising young talent with a big future. He was able to develop into a top-class Premier League midfielder with proper guidance. He has already shown quality at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Manchester United are trying to build a formidable team for the future, and they need to hold on to the best young talent. Losing 20 years old could prove to be a mistake in the future. It is still unknown how the situation will develop.

Manchester United need more quality in the middle of the park, and it will be interesting to see if they can bring the right addition before the windows close. Apart from improvements, you need to maintain a quality player. Mainoo could be an asset to them in the long run.
