Crystal Palace is reportedly interested in signing Liverpool attacker Harvey Elliott during the summer transfer period.
The 22-year-old has linked his move away from Liverpool in recent weeks, and he will have to leave the Premier League champions to play regularly.
Elliott needs regular games at this stage of his career, and sitting on the Liverpool bench will not benefit him. Crystal Palace reportedly views him as a potential alternative to Ebebeki Eze.
The 27-year-old joined Arsenal earlier this summer, and the Eagles need to replace him. He was an essential asset to them.
Elliott’s sharp crystal palace
“It would be very difficult for the palace to replace Eze,” he told Football Insider.
“He was a very important person in the team and the way they played.
“But that’s something they’re already working on, and there are a few players looking at who could potentially come to him.
“Harvey Elliott is the one I heard they were ready to make a move.
“He’s a good player for many clubs and there are people in the Premier League who are still keeping an eye on his situation.”
Harvey Elliott improves the palace
Elliott could prove to be a quality long-term investment for the London Club. The 22-year-old can run not only on the side but also on the central side. He creates opportunities for teammates and helps him find the backstage of the net as well. Regular football at Selhurst Park can bring out the best even for players.
He could develop into a top-class Premier League attacker, and Crystal Palace can provide him with the platform he needs. This move is ideal for all involved.
Liverpool strengthened its attacking forces this summer, with Elliott falling further down the pecking order. The champion attempts to win cash to the player if the opportunity presents itself.
