Yet another striker option has appeared for Newcastle United, with intermediaries urging them to push the magpie and sign a fresh alternative to Jorgenstrandlasen.

As reported by Italian journalist Filippo Biafora, the intermediary is currently pushing Newcastle to sign Artem Dovbyk from As As Roma, and is about to set up a deal between the two clubs. The forward is likely to leave the Italian club this summer, allowing Tyneside people to provide the perfect solution to the problem.

After Jorgenstrandlasen’s £50 million worth of opening offer is rejected, Magpies may return to the drawings multiple times this summer if the next offer does not meet the wolf’s requirements. That’s when Dovbyk could be the ideal option.

Compared to last season, Dovbyk and Strand Larsen could only be separated by four goal involvement, which was an underrated season in Ukraine International. Like the rumored target Dusan Vlahovic, he stands at 6 feet 3, and his physical style compares to both the Serbian star and fellow Serie frontman Romeru Rukaku.

Celebrating analyst Ben Matinson’s “powerful left foot,” Dovbyk is undoubtedly expected to be much cheaper than Strand Larsen, while offering the same quality. Unlike the Strandlersen and the Wolf cases, Rome appears to be keen to sanction the deal for their advancement.
