Tyrique George has linked his journey away from Chelsea this summer.
The 19-year-old wants to play regularly, and he decides to leave the London club in search of normal football. Italian costume Rome is eager to secure his signature.
George is highly regarded in Europe and he has a bright future. Chelsea are not ready to keep him at the club against his wishes, and they sanction his departure. However, his contract includes a sell-on clause.
Chelsea believes he has the tools to develop into a top-class player, and they want to benefit from his future relocation.
The talented young attacker registered 18 goal contributions in all competitions last season. Chelsea wanted to use him on his first team team this season, but the players decided to move on. It will be interesting to see if he can play regularly for Italian clubs and establish himself as an important player for them.
George wants Chelsea exit
Graeme Bailey revealed in TBR Football: “The deal includes a considerable sale clause, and I’m talking about how it’s going very well with George and Rome.
“Chelsea will hold on some kind of grip on their selling, but when players want to leave, they have no intention of protecting him without the desire to stay.”
Can Rome sign Tyrique George?
If Rome could sign him for a reasonable amount, the deal might look like a masterstroke in the long run. The 19-year-old could potentially develop into a future star with the right guidance.
Chelsea have enough depth in their offensive units, and they cannot provide him with regular opportunities. It makes sense for young people to move on. Sitting on the bench of a big club doesn’t benefit him.
