Manchester United face Grimsbytown in the second round of today’s EFL Cup, and they hope to book their place in the next round of victory and competition.

Grimsbytown surprised Manchester United with two quick fire goals in the first half from Charles Burnham and Tyrell Warren.

Manchester United weren’t at their best in the game, but they were now able to reduce the deficit with a goal signed to Brian Mbemo in the summer. The former Brentford star scored Manchester United’s first goal in all 75 minutes of the season. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can get an equalizer for the rest of the game.

Brian Mbemo wins his first man United goal

Mbeumo took on the defense of the town of Grimsby and did well to find the bottom corner in the far post. He was a Brentford standout last season, and Manchester United fans will be pleased to see him open a scoring account for his new club. They hope he can build on this performance and set out to score his goals.

Man United should provide their top players

Manchester United have looked like they have no teeth on their offense so far this season. The goal here certainly gives players a lot of confidence and he will now try to put together a strong performance run.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are desperate to save the game after a disappointing show in the first half. Also, it remains to be seen whether I will be able to reserve my place for the next EFL Cup round. Clashing from a competition with the town of Grimsby would be a devastating blow to them.
