Calvin Stengs is trapped in a move to Italian club Pisa, but he is also linked to Leicester City.
According to Kees Kwakman, Frank de Boer urged players to join the Italian club rather than moving to the UK with the fox.
The Dutch manager believes that the slow pace of Italian football suits him, not the intense and demanding nature of British football.
Calvin Sten urged Leicester to snubb.
ESPN Pundit Kees Kwakman said:
“I think football (in Italy) is right for him. His pace is slow and he can unleash his creativity.
“I think (Pisa) know what they’re starting out. He’s been training for a few weeks and is on the bench at Feynord. They’re not bringing in a player with knee issues. He may have to miss a day or two after the game, but they know that.”
Leicester needs to have a deep attack
It will be interesting to see if Leicester City has decided to move on to other targets. Attack units require more quality and depth. Bilal El Khannous is also linked to travelling from the club. They need to replace him properly.
If you want to fight for promotion this season, you will need to add more quality to your team. Improvement of attack units must be one of those priorities.
Meanwhile, Stengs will try to make his mark in Italy. Technically talented attackers have the quality to do well for PISA. It remains to be seen if he will be able to run to the ground.
