  • Eddie Howe enters Alexander Isaac
  • Newcastle submits Davide Frattesi’s bid

Not only are Newcastle United locked up by Nick Urtemaid, they may be pushing Joane Wissa in, but they are not the only position they are trying to strengthen before the deadline.

Eddie Howe enters Alexander Isaac

Alexander Isaac’s potential St James Park exit looks more likelihood than in recent weeks, especially as Woltemade is on the crisis of a big buck to magpies from VFB Stuttgart.

Speaking at Reed United’s press conference on Friday, Eddie Howe admitted that the situation remains in his hands and hinted at Isaac, undoubtedly moving from Newcastle to Liverpool.

“I have a preference for football, but you have to take everything else into consideration, you can’t just forget what happened. So I’m really in that position. I’m trying to separate myself because I can’t control it.

“If you’re emotionally involved, you’re going to make a bad decision. Alex left the team first, so I had to leave. I thought I had to be the best I am and I needed to focus completely on them.

Of course, Woltemade, Wissa and offensive situations have a lot of focus on it, but it appears Newcastle is also targeting the midfielder.

Newcastle submits Davide Frattesi’s bid

With journalist Gianluca di Marzio Sports WitnessNewcastle and PIF have “offered” for Inter Milan midfielder David Frattesi and want to sign him with the obligation to sign him forever. But while it may be a “complicated” deal to get over the line, intermanager Christian Chibb rates the £35 million rating of Italian as an important part of his plan.

Frattesi is a Newcastle target through the summer window, and the meeting was reportedly held earlier this week, and he could be a great signature for Howe, adding even more depth and quality to the middle of the park.

The 25-year-old helped him reach the Champions League final last season, scoring the victory goal against Barcelona in the semi-finals, and Italian legend Roberto Baguio thanked both Fratesi and Sandro Tonari when he sealed each of his moves two years ago.

“I didn’t follow much in the transfer market, but two moves are packed into my mind. The first is Tonari’s move towards Newcastle, which I didn’t expect. Milan will lose a lot without him.

It’s more important for Newcastle to focus on offensive signatures than midfielders, but if they can get a Fratesi loan agreement on the line, it could be a great business.
