With just two days before the transfer window closes, Manchester City reportedly aims for an alternative option for Real Madrid’s Rodrigo.
Latest Man City transfer goals
Man City’s transfer window began with prosperity, but it slowly grew. Now, with the deadline approaching, there are still dominos that many dominos still have to fall in order for them to get their main target. One of these targets is, of course, Gianluigi donnarumma. The Paris Saint-Germain shot stopper has already said goodbye to French fans, but the Etihad people have not yet finished the deal.
As things stand, City still moves forward at Adason’s exit, waiting before securing Donnaruma. However, there is no denying that time is running out until the movement occurs. PepGuardiola may still be missed.
Donnaruma is also not the only top star linked to his journey to Man City. Real Madrid’s Rodrigo is also on their radar this summer as they are looking for a route from the Bernabeu.
But, like Donnaruma, the Brazilian movement may depend on whether the citizens will first sell one of them. For a while, it looked like Savinho, who didn’t play City’s first two Premier League matches, but Tottenham Hotspur has since gone on to other targets.
There may also be better options than Rodrigo. It suggests that Etihad people are now aiming for Guardiola’s alternative superstar option.
Man City turns its eyes to Ollies
As reported by the Christian Folk of the Build, Man City is currently paying attention to the move to sign Michael Oris from Bayern Munich alongside Palisen German and Liverpool’s Premier League rivals. The Frenchman has starred since swapping Crystal Palace for the Bundesliga champions who are now willing to sell Starman.
Despite Bayern’s reported stance, citizens’ interest is certainly interesting. Guardiola struggled to find wingers that were as effective as Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sain, and although he did at the peak of the city, he had not tried it. Jeremie Doku, Savinho, Grealish and others all failed attempts to truly hold the same headline. But Ollise may be the one Guardiola is looking for.

Compared to Rodrigo, there is a distinct standout. Oris is on another level for the Real Madrid guy, but Guardiola already knows the quality the winger has in his wealth.
It was described as “unique” by former Men’s City man Owen Hargreaves last season, but it wasn’t long ago that Ollies had silenced Etihad with a last-minute penalty to save the draw for Crystal Palace.
