In a tense and fierce battle at Anfield, Liverpool finally broke the impasse with a moment of pure glow, the courtesy of Dominique Zoboschlei.

With just 10 minutes left, the Hungarian midfielder unleashed a great free kick from around 30 yards and curled the ball into the top corner, out of reach of goalkeeper David Raya.

As the title race begins to shape early in the season, this stunning personal effort from Szoboszlai could prove to be a critical moment.

It not only showed calm under his technical brilliance and pressure, but also solidified his high reputation as a Liverpool’s real match winner.

The midfielder is playing right back due to the crisis of Liverpool’s injury in that position.

With Jeremie Frimpong having fitness issues, Szoboszlai plays in that position and is working very well.

But his moment of glow over Arsenal is something no one had hoped for in a heavily contested table clash at Anfield.

Until that moment, the match was tough, both sides cancelled each other. Arsenal defended defied, but Liverpool struggled to carve out a clear opportunity.

But football matches at the highest levels are often determined by flashes of individual glow, and Szoboszlai offered just that. His strike turned a finely balanced encounter into a decisive 1-0, leading Liverpool fans to the rapture and silenced the conditions of Arsenal to travel.

As Liverpool puts a serious challenge to the Premier League title, Szoboszlai’s free kick against Arsenal can be looked back as one of those defining moments.
