Arsenal is a completely transformed club over the past five years or so.

Mikel Arteta took the side spiraling in the mediocrity of the mid-table, helping to create one of the best teams in Europe, let alone the Premier League.

His philosophy and tactics have played a key role in rejuvenating North London, as well as the signatures they have made.

Today, former sports directors Edu Gaspar and Andrea Berta, gunners have become much more effective at identifying and signing great players in the transfer market.

However, Arsenal still has problems selling the stars and has seen more than their fair share leave, including the international one that could be called Arteta’s own Alexander Isaac.

Arsenal players who left for nothing

Last summer, Eddie Nketier, Emile Smith Lowe, Aaron Ramsdale, and others all had signs of improvement in search of decent money, but in the last four or five years, too many Arsenal left without doing anything.

For example, perhaps the most exciting signature the club has ever made, with the arrival of players promised an era of victory for the club that never arrived.

The German superstar was famous for agreeing to a contract renewal of £35000 £350k per week in January 2018, and was pretty downhill from that moment until he left for Fenerbahce three years later.

Another big name signed to leave for free was Nicholas Pepe.

Ivorian was a better player than people gave him credit and earned 48 target involvement in 112 games, but he couldn’t stand the £75 million price tag and ended the contract with mutual consent after some interim loans.

Going back further, Unai Emery’s time at the club, and Aaron Ramsey’s exit, was another disaster from an economic standpoint.

After playing 369 games with the club, he scored 64 goals and provided 60 assists and played a key role in several FA Cup wins.

That said, none of these stars could realistically compare to Liverpool’s new superstar Isaac.

Arsenal star was Arteta’s Isaac

Since taking up his job at Arsenal, Arteta has overseen the exits of several well-known players, including the aforementioned Ozil, but perhaps the most controversial one was Pierre Emerick Aubamijan.

Gabonese International was a club captain for some of the Spanish tenure, but after a late arrival at the North London Derby in March 2021, writing was on the wall due to his gunner’s career.

The former Borussia Dortmund star was finally let go of nothing in January 2022, and although he endured a year and a half inactivity in Barcelona and Chelsea, he soon found his shape in the southern part of France.

In one season with Marseille, the Laval-born monster scored 30 goals and provided 11 assists in 51 appearances.

The 36-year-old was able to accumulate an impressive tally of 24 goals involvement in 36 games for Arcazia last season, but now returns to Marseille, already surpassing Viktor Gyoker, generating three goals involvement in three games.

That being said, what was it about Over that meant that he could explain to him as Isaac of the Arteta of the past?

Well, the first reason is that before it boiled, the “world class” striker dubbed by Behdad Eghbali was a lean average goalscoring machine for the manager.

For example, in the 19/20 season, he scored a sensational distance of 29 goals and three assists, totaling 3725 minutes.

That’s an outrageous average of goal involvement every 1.37 games or every 116.40 minutes.

Plus, like the former Newcastle United star, he is a creepy striker, but undoubtedly an elegant center forward, with plenty of finishes, but was particularly skilled at coming from the wide and slotting home.

In fact, like the Swedes, he may be the first striker, but he spent quite a bit of time playing big on the wings in his career.

Finally, just as the Reds’ new star helped his previous team in the League Cup, the former Gunners star played a key role in lifting the FA Cup in his first season as manager.

Ultimately, there was a good reason to remove Aubameyang, but it’s hard to believe he’s wondering how useful he is for this Arsenal team.
