There were reportedly five clubs interested in signing Manchester United Central midfielder Cobby Mine later this summer.

The transfer window was closed earlier this week, and Mainoo has been forced to remain at Man UTD despite him not playing a particularly important role since Ruben Amorim became manager.

The 20-year-old was clearly a top talent, and according to the Daily Mail, he was likely to have had things like Tottenham, Aston Villa, Everton, Naples and Rome as suitors.

United fans will certainly be relieved that Mineu will remain in the way as they can still have a big future at Old Trafford.

Can Kobbie Mainoo revive his Manchester United career?

Mainoo first invaded United’s first team under former manager Erik Ten Hag, but it didn’t take long for him to look real.

His form under Amorim is certainly just a minor blip, but it will certainly be interesting to see how much playing time he will get between now and January.

If his situation doesn’t improve, there will certainly be many big clubs there who were ready to gamble him.

Who else would be trying to sign Kobbie Mainoo?

Catch off side Leeds United had been informed of doubts about Mineu’s future as the summer approaches.

There was also talk of Newcastle United exploring the movements of United youth.

United’s academies often produce top talent like Mainoo, so club fans will surely cheer for his homemade talents as many others have in the club’s history.
