  • Timo Werner’s advice for Simons
  • Xavi Simons may be a star

Tottenham Hotspur signed RB Leipzig’s Zabi Simons earlier this summer, with players revealing how Timo Werner played a key role in his transfer.

The Dutch International has known Werner since his days at German clubs, revealing that the German International gave him a passionate recommendation of the club and fans before he moved.

Timo Werner’s advice for Simons

Werner never established himself as a key player for Tottenham on 18 months of loan, but he appreciates the club. His positive explanations for the North London Club certainly helped to convince Simmons to join the club.

“He taught me a lot about the club’s greatness and fantastical fans,” Simons (H/T Standard). “And he said he thought it was a good place for me to learn and improve. I appreciate your trust, Timo!”

Xavi Simons may be a star

The 22-year-old is looking to establish himself as a key player in the North London outfit. He is an incredible talent with a bright future and is expected to replace the club’s legendary son Heung-Min.

South Korea International moved to MLS earlier this summer, and Tottenham needed a dynamic attacker like Simons. The Netherlands International has the technical attributes that will develop into top-class players, and it will be interesting to see if they can quickly adapt to the Premier League. He was young enough to improve even further, and he was able to develop into a future star with proper guidance.

He has proven himself in Germany and the opportunity to showcase his qualities in England is very inspiring for him. It remains to be seen whether he will be able to hit the ground running at his new club.
