Recent set-offs include Diogo Darott, who retreated from the Portuguese national troops due to muscle problems and returned to Manchester for further evaluation.
As the right-back started regularly for the Red Devils this season, his absence will shadow upcoming high-stakes clashes, including the Manchester Derby, following the matchups between Chelsea and Liverpool.
Meanwhile, attack assets are also on the treatment table. United’s £62.5 million summer signing, Matthews Cunha, limped during a 3-2 victory over Burnley before slipping out of the Brazilian side.
