Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville, now a Sky Sports specialist, has determined the “best” stadium vibe between Celtic and the Rangers.

Considered one of the best right-backs of all time in the Premier League, Neville spent just under 20 years as an expert on the Red Devils and was always on the side of Old Trafford’s Irish Alex Ferguson.

Coming alongside David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville and Paul Shoals as part of Carrington’s famous 92′ class, Neville is now best known for his work as a co-op, analyst and podcast host with Sky Sports.

During his play he played once for Celtic Park and Ibrox in the Champions League. Against Hoops, Neville captained Neville’s Captain Man Utd as he lost 1-0 at Parkhead in 2006. Nakamura Shun proved that it was a difference.

At Ibrox three years ago, Neville won 1-0 for the Rangers thanks to the early goals of the Phil brothers.

Neville chooses between Celtic and Rangers for “the best atmosphere.”

Neville said that Rangers and Ibrox described them as “the best vibe” ahead of Celtic Park, as they had spoken earlier on the sticks on the football podcast.

“The best vibe I’ve ever seen was Ibrox. The game started so I thought, ‘What is this?’ Celtic had never seen anything like that in my life before the first few minutes.

Former hoop midfielder Roy Keene, who also appeared in the Stick to Football Podcast, disagreed with Neville.

“Anyway, Celtic Park has a better vibe.”
