st. LOUIS – Thomas Bjorn made a 35-foot birdie putt on the first hole of the playoffs against Cameron Percy on Sunday, winning the Stiffel Charity Classic for his first personal victory with the PGA Tour Champions.

Bjorn closed at a 4-under 67, matching Percy. Percy birded three of the three holes in 64 regulations at 12 under 201 at the Norwood Hills Country Club.

Par 4 in the playoffs On the 18th, Bjorn ran with a long putt and Percy’s birdie tried as he got a little closer to the left edge.

Bjorn, 54, won the second time this year on the 50+ tour after winning the American Family Insurance Championship in June in Madison, Wisconsin. Dane won the European Tour 15 times, and the European Ryder Cup team won the captain in the 2018 match in France.

Percy, who is from Australia, missed out on his chance to win his first senior.

German Alex Seika slashed the 18th three times for a bogey to miss the playoffs on his stroke. He closed at 69.
