  • Amorim’s work at Old Trafford has serious problems

Manchester United have made their worst start to the Premier League season since 1992-93.

With just four points from the first four games of the season, questions are being asked about Reuben Amorim’s future.

The Portuguese manager received support from the club owners to spend the money this summer.

Amorim strengthened his team with signatures from Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Diego Leon, Benjamin Sesko and Senne Lammens.

There’s a hole in the middle, but Amorim didn’t sign one time in that position, and that’s probably why his team is struggling so much at this point.

Man United was beaten convincingly by Man City

Their latest defeat came against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium. The 3-0 scoreline is certainly embarrassing for United, but the way they got beat is something that they need to worry about fans and owners.

Former Premier League striker Charlie Austin suggests that Zinedine Zidane is the right person to work at Old Trafford.

To his surprise, he also mentioned Sean Dish, who was fired by Everton earlier this year, as a manager who can provide stability to a struggling team.

“I think he has to go. If that’s my decision, I’m chasing Zinedine Zidane.” He said, as Express reported.

“In the end, there’s another set of managers you have to look at, Manchester United is in there, so I’ll take Zidane with me, but he’s the right guy for the job, and probably not.

“In my honest opinion, I have to see what Sean Dish did at Burnley, what he did at Everton. For me, he has stabilized the club, and at least he’s going to put the structure there.

“Zidane is the top of the wood for me, but what the club needs now is structure because that’s what they don’t have. I know Manchester United fans say, “I said Sean Dish.”

It is still unclear what the future holds for Man United’s Amorim, but his work is getting even more difficult each week.

His team is unable to produce results, and the manager will not try to change his philosophy.

The fixture against Chelsea at Old Trafford next week is now even more important to the Red Devils, and if they lose that game, Amorim could soon be out of the club.

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Grasner is another name linked to United’s work amidst the uncertainty surrounding Amorim.
