  • Gary Neville offers a dull Reuben Amorim rating

Manchester United are feeling the heat after a derby bruise at Etihad Stadium.

Manchester United falls into a calm derby defeat

In a very important derby match for Reuben Amorim, his team was unable to show up at Etihad Stadium, falling into an inclusive 3-0 defeat.

Nevertheless, the Portuguese boss insisted at a post-match press conference that he would not change his style regardless of external pressure, and that if Ineo wanted to see the change, they must release his obligations.

He states:

“I play my way until I want to change. Everyone, I accept that (question) that’s not the record you should have at Man United. But there’s a lot you don’t know about what’s going to happen in the past few months. I understand everything.

Lisandro Martinez was able to return to Manchester United in October, but while he’s a minor positive, he can’t cut that for most of the Red Devils’ support, which has only seen one Premier League victory over newly promoted Burnley this season.

The underlying numbers of the Red Devils show slight improvements, but losses in damage at their city rivals have made Old Trafford feel worse now that the international break has ended.

The results are all and ending for Manchester United, and it’s not very clear to suggest that if they don’t improve, they could come next with the club.

Looking back on his tough day in the office, Gary Neville clarified his feelings about what he felt he could come next at Old Trafford.

Gary Neville offers a dull Reuben Amorim rating

After a match at Sky Sports, Gary Neville acknowledged that the loss to Manchester United’s Chelsea next week could raise questions surrounding Amorim’s future, revealing that refusing to change the system is the main source of concern.

He states: “I think it puts pressure on his stiffness in sticking to the manager and the system. The city beat them well and had good moments in the game. It was the first 15 minutes, the first five minutes of the second half.

“I’ve seen United lose this type of game when they felt angry and irritated. I don’t feel anything. It’s even worse. This wasn’t about performance. United just got beaten.

Amorim is aiming for a tough equipment run for Manchester United, with clashes with Chelsea, Brentford and Sunderland before traveling to face Liverpool for more than a few months.

As inconsistent results continue to dominate the landscape, improvements are clearly needed if his team is serious about climbing the Premier League table.
