Manchester United reportedly views Jose Mourinho as a potential alternative to Reuben Amorim, according to Fichejes.

It’s very surprising if you decide to move for the 62-year-old after firing him in the past in 2018. The Portuguese manager previously managed Manchester United and led them to victory in the EFL Cup, Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

He is currently quitting his job after being fired by Fenerbafe in August. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United decided to bring him back to the club. According to Amorim’s plans, things aren’t gone. Manchester United struggles after a disappointing start to the season.

Despite his important support in the transfer market, Amorim was unable to make the most of his team. Bringing a quality manager could prove to be a wise decision for Manchester United, but Mourinho’s move may not work with the fans.

He has an impressive track record of winning trophies, but he is no longer at the peak of his management career. Manchester United should aim higher. It is still unknown how the situation will unfold.

Amorim is unlikely to be shown the door anytime soon, and Manchester United is likely to stick with him for now. However, the Portuguese manager is clearly on thin ice. The results need to be improved immediately. Otherwise he can show the door.
