Leeds United head coach Daniel Fark now discusses the possibility of joining the first team on the possibility of quickly following young talent.

Fark revealed the situation Thursday when he questioned Gray’s potential debut.

Looking back at his previous managerial role, Fark highlighted his strong commitment to the development of young people, highlighting his time overseeing the Academy in Dortmund and his previous experience at Norwich, where he promoted young players to famous. He also mentioned the role that led Archie Gray into the Leeds setup, but now focuses on Archie’s younger brother, Harry.

Fark asserted his confidence in his own judgment when it came to dealing with young players at key moments.

The manager added that Gray will need to integrate with the first team and develop experience and physically to deal with the harshness of Premier League football.

But Fark also emphasized the importance of a balance between giving grey exposure and continuing to develop in environments where he is less pressured.

He said: “I don’t want to sound arrogant, but I gave Harry his debut at crunch time.

“I chose me to know what a young player needs to be brave enough to back his manager and play young players. Harry needs to train on his first team and experience the physicality of the Premier League.

“He needs time to stay in his rhythm and not lose his striker’s instincts. He needs time and peace to grow.

This season, Gray has made six appearances for Leeds United’s Under-21 side, scoring seven goals, including an outstanding hat-trick against Scunthorpe United’s first team. He is also an unused replacement for Wednesday’s Carabao Cup match against Sheffield, suggesting he is closer to a first-team breakthrough.

At just 17 years old, Harrye’s rapid progress has already attracted attention, and Fark is keen to cultivate carefully towards his premier league exposure.
