Liverpool sealed three points with goals from Lian Grain Bellch and Hugo Ekitike in today’s Merseyside Derby in a 2-1 victory over rivals Everton.
The Reds started brightly at Anfield, with Glenbemberch and Ekitique giving a 2-0 lead within 30 minutes, but once again they took their feet off the gas a bit.
Idrissa Gueye pulled one back to Everton just before Hour Mark, but on this occasion there was no comeback like Atletico Madrid came from 2-0 in a Champions League match mid-week.

Liverpool Player Rating vs Everton
Allison Becker – 6/10 – It wasn’t always possible to do it, but again I couldn’t hold the clean sheet. It’s tough to say that his goal is his fault, but that’s probably a shot he might have done better.
Virgil Van Dijk -7/10- Both Liverpool centre-backs have to lose points as they admitted again, but Vandic has almost gotten quite good, completing 59 of 64 passes.
Ibrahima Conate – 7/10- Like Van Dijk, there was no huge amount of Konate wrong.
Connor Bradley – 6.5/10 – In the XI before Jeremy Fripon, a bit suspicious, Connor Bradley wasn’t that good, especially when dealing with Jack Grelish because of Everton’s goal.
Types of Milos-6/10- Milos Kerquez has been a player who has struggled since moving in the summer and has once again been a bit sloppy for Liverpool.
Lian Grain Bellch – 9/10 – A great performance from a good player, Ryan Gravenberch got goals and assists from the midfield and generally bossed the game.
Alexis Mac Allister – 6.5/10 – Things continued to ticket fully, as he often did, but were less influential than Gravenberch. He eventually replaced Curtis Jones.
Dominik Szoboszlai -7/10- A classy display in a more aggressive role than usual, as he took on the role of Florian Wiltz. Although there are no goals or support, he is involved in many of Liverpool’s best moments.
Cody GA 6/10 – – 6/10 – 6/1 There was no major impact from today’s Dutch winger, and he was replaced by Wirtz an hour later.
Mohamed Sarah – 7/10- Even when he’s not at his best, Sarah has a way of influencing the game, as he did with his neat assist for Graven Burch’s goal today.
Hugo Ekitike -8.5/10- Another great performance from Hugo Ekitike, a clinical finish from Gravenberch’s lovely assist, shows that Alexander Isaac will not give up on the starting point without a fight.
