Liverpool defender Ibrahima Connate can leave the club when his contract expires in the summer, hoping that Mark Guech will replace him.
The 25-year-old England International is approaching Liverpool during the summer transfer period, with the Premier League champions expected to return for him in January or in the summer transfer period.
Guehi is also linked to Real Madrid.

Guehi will close his contract in the summer of 2026 and he may be signed to a reasonable amount in future windows. If Crystal Palace does not agree to sell him for a nominal amount, he will be available for free transfers at the end of the season.
Pete O’Rourke told Football Insider: “Mark Guech is probably his favourite to come to Anfield as a new defender in a free summer than next summer, perhaps, unless the palace actually lowers the asking price at England International.”
Konate is set to the exit
Konate will also become a free agent in the summer of 2026, and he has yet to sign an extension with Liverpool. Real Madrid is linked to French International. It will be interesting to see if he has decided to commit a long-term future for the club. Alternatively, he could consider trying new challenges and moving on to La Liga.
Guehi could prove to be a great alternative. He has consistently demonstrated quality in the Premier League and signing a player of his abilities on a free transfer is a wise decision.
The 25-year-old is a reliable defender and he is very good at balls under his feet. Liverpool prefers to be a ball-playing defender, while England International is perfect for football style.
