West Ham United line up potential alternatives to Graham Potter after a nightmare start until 2025/2026, with one of the candidates extremely keen on moving to East London.
Graham Potter faces West Ham fire after a bad start
Potter’s winning percentage since he was in charge in January is a rather disastrous reading.

Defensively, the West Ham is cut like a hot butter knife. So far, it has shown serious weaknesses when dealing with sets while acknowledging more goals than any other top flight side.

Of the candidates to replace Potter, Nuno Espirito Santo is reportedly currently in Paul’s position for a potential job at West Ham (former employer) but cannot discount former Iron boss Slaven Bilic.
The Croatian, a former West Ham player, was in charge between 2015 and 2017. Billick led West Ham to a seventh place finish at the end of his first campaign.

He is now in his hometown where he is closely monitoring the event. If Potter can’t turn things around against Everton and Arsenal, it appears he wants to take over from the age of 50.
Interestingly, despite other opportunities, West Ham is one of the two clubs that Billick will be involved in. Alongside another former club in West Brom.
West Ham must hire Nuno before Bilic
But we believe that Billick is not the right person to move them forward, as is evident by the fact that they have already fired him once. Nuno, on the other hand, is a completely different problem.
