MIAMI – Top-ranked tennis player Carlos Alcaraz will find the headline for the Miami Invitational later this year.

No for the one-off event scheduled for December 8th at Loandopot Park. 42Joao Fonseca, No. 4Amanda Anisimova, No. 33 Emma Raducanu will also be appearing.

Invitational has two single matches of three best sets with 10-point tiebreakers to determine the third set.

Wimbledon finalist at this year’s US Open, Anishimoba will face 2021 US Open champion Radukanu. After that, six-time major champion Alcaraz takes on the 19-year-old Fonseca, the top-ranked single player in Brazil, at their first meeting.

Molly Pendleton, senior vice president of Unified Events, who partners with LoandePot Park for the event, said the goal is to grow the game of tennis.

“Female featuring two of the brightest female stars in Anisimova and Raducanu along with the first meeting of Alcaraz and Fonseca should prove to be an electric night for tennis fans,” Pendleton said in a statement.
