Keegan Bradley fires crowds at the Ryder Cup to waving the American flag

The Captain Keegun is ready.

The 2025 Ryder Cup will begin within 24 hours. Team USA frontman Keegan Bradley informed the crowd who this was as players concluded their final practice round on Thursday afternoon.

Bradley borrowed an American flag from gallery fans and sprinted down the 18th fairway, laughing and waving the flag around with fierce applause.

As he approached the green, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” began to ring on the speakers in the grandstand, with Bradley competing against a surface that shook the stars and stripes from side to side.

A purely uplifting moment for the American captain, who set out to return the Ryder Cup to the US after the team beat down in Rome in 2023.

It is still unknown whether the golf world will consider Bradley’s captain a success or failure, but one thing is certain. He doesn’t stand up and makes the Beth Page crowd forget who the home team is this weekend.
