The Americans won one cup this week in New York.

Astary Tully and Anna Fan were undefeated, with the Americans garnering a big victory in a single session at the Nassau Country Club in a 17-1/2-12-2 victory over Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup on Thursday.

The event includes foursome, mixed foursome, mixed foursome, mixed fourball and singles. It took three days to get it because of the rain.

Europe won in 2023 when the Ryder Cup was in Italy. The US victory extended the series’ lead to 8-4-1.

“We were down for a long time this morning, and these kids just fought hard and got the job done,” said Captain Susie Wheelie, former PGA president. “They looked at the blue sea on the leaderboard and knew exactly where they were standing. They showed grit, perseverance and didn’t give up.”
