  • Arteta’s tactical tweaks make a difference
  • Arsenal players were able to drop in the season

Last weekend, Arsenal was accused of not removing his handbrake. Gabriel Martinelli was a hero as he rescued the gunners from a 1-1 draw with Manchester City.

However, despite positive results, the performance was not encouraging. Mikel Arteta’s subordinates were founded in Mikel Merino, Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice mid-3.

But against Newcastle United, the handbrakes were really upbeat and off, and they got what they deserved at St. James Park and won 2-1 in the final Gasp fashion.

It was a story of three headers. Toon’s giant new striker, Nick Woltemade, won the opener, but Merino and Gabriel’s slow strike from Magalges ensured that the people of North London had left the tough ground famous for all three points.

That victory means Arteta’s side will move within two points for Liverpool, who lost to Crystal Palace in the second half 24 hours ago.

Arteta’s tactical tweaks make a difference

Last weekend, Gunners controlled the ball and boasted more than 60% of ownership, but they struggled to create a clear opportunity against the decisive Man City backline.

The truth is said, chance creation was one of the important issues for Arteta men, but the selection of teams certainly helped them in their quest to gain more goals.

It may have taken 84 minutes for Merino to be introduced as an alternative, but it was worth noting that Arsenal had not scored earlier.

Given the Viktor Gyokeres’ penalty decision, the St. James visitors were able to score three or four points.

Eberechi Eze was brilliantly denied not once but twice by Nick Pope in the first half who made great saves on his right and left sides. The Pope again warned him to maintain a close header from Julian Timber in the second half.

Eze scored mid-week, which was perhaps his most important performance in the Arsenal shirt since his signature from Crystal Palace.

With Martin Odegard on the bench just returning from injury and Ethan Nwaneri was omitted from the match-day team, the British were featured in the middle and made a great contribution.

Eze may have won a couple, and he only generated one key pass, but the pockets of space he had in and his willingness to shoot were a huge positive for Arteta. The fact that he played near Gyoker also made a big difference.

It remains to be seen whether the summer arrival continues to play before Odegaard, but in the last two games he is certainly betting his claim that he will.

Regardless of Arteta’s most dynamic midfield selection on Sunday, it was still a set play that came to Arsenal’s rescue.

Rice’s winding ball from the short corner on the left found Merino, who flicked the header skillfully beyond the Pope.

The victory goal was certainly not clever. A weak and embarrassing to Woltemade’s opener, Gabriel certainly wasn’t embarrassed this time.

Brazilian Lepto meets Odegard’s corner in the 96th minute and returns home in a dramatic way, causing a wild celebration among Arsenal players.

What a moment for the gunners, but if we are cruel to assess the lawsuit, they need to improve.

This starts with one of the players of the previous season.

Arsenal players were able to drop in the season

This was a very difficult start to a new campaign for Londoners who went to Old Trafford, Anfield and St James Park, playing Manchester City in six league matches of the campaign.

The performance was strong, but not without issues. Gyoker continues to come and go in and out of the game, but Leandro Trossard hasn’t done much to persuade him while starting as a left winger in the final two games.

However, in defense, it could be a time of change. The most noticeable one is the left back. Given his history of injury, Ricardo Carafioli has done well to play six league matches on the bounce.

To be fair, he opened very strong in the weeks of the season, facing Manchester United in the weekend opening, and recorded two assists in a 5-0 victory at Leeds United.

The Italian has even described him as a “Arsenal player of all seasons” by one gunner content creator. Fair words, really.

However, against Newcastle, Calafiori fell perhaps the worst performance of the season so far, struggling in the back and failed to provide much in the future.

He said a lot that Atteta chose to take him away in 70 minutes. This is a beneficial change for West Ham United next week, when Arteta’s side is expected to create many opportunities.

Lewis-Skelly comes to the team certainly will help. The clip below shows his incredible vision and ability to open a team with his passing.

Cafafiori often resembles a bull-like thing that raging in the last third, but he is less accurate. That accuracy would have been ideal for Newcastle on Sunday.

In fact, Calafiori managed only one keypath and had two shots from the target. From a defensive standpoint, he couldn’t win one duel and created just one tackle.

It was not a scary exhibit from Italian International, but it showed his limits in certain game states. Meanwhile, Lewis Skelly is particularly strong in duels.

Last year, the teenager was dribbled just once in the Premier League. He also won six duels in the 90th minute. This is most players in the league.

As a result, there are certainly cases where the Karafiori should be allowed to bench next week for a hammer visit.
