  • Enzo Maresca under pressure at Chelsea
  • Cole Palmer and Reese James not completely behind Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has a point in his report surrounding his future that proves it is an important week for tacticians.

Enzo Maresca under pressure at Chelsea

Saturday’s Blues’ 3-1 loss to Brighton in the Premier League put more pressure on Maresca after the past few weeks of victory on the top flight, mainly thanks to Trebocharova being sent out shortly after halftime.

Chelsea have not scored three points in the league since the London Derby won 2-0 at Fulham in late August. Maresca’s team passed Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup and lost convincingly to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Maresca is not helped by a lack of defensive options. Also, Chelsea can create a serious case of one of their top priorities in the summer that they should really bring in star centre-backs.

Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill are all injured, and Chalobah is also suspended this weekend in his important next league match against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea spent £285 million on the summer window, the second-largest spender behind this weekend’s opponent. But the spending penny wasn’t on the senior defender, and Maresca would definitely be frustrating.

Reports suggest that Chelsea is in favor of Maresca for the time being, reflecting something like Fabrizio Romano, whom the Blues say they don’t intend to change it immediately.

But this is their public status, but another trusted journalist, Simon Phillips, revealed that there is a “clear tension” between Maresca and the Chelsea board.

Additionally, it is believed that the two famous Chelsea stars are not shopping for Maresca’s philosophy entirely.

Cole Palmer and Reese James not completely behind Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca

Writing through his substance, Phillips named Cole Palmer and Reese James as players who would not completely convince Maresca.

“There are players in the group that aren’t overly warm for a variety of reasons,” Phillips said.

“I reported on Cole Palmer before he wasn’t behind the way he didn’t want Maresca’s team to play. Reese James could also be placed in the same category. A few other players either don’t have an overly vibe with the head coach either. Of course, in public and players, this is clear in Maresca’s comments.

Phillips adds that sources close to Palmer are plagued by the circumstances surrounding his gro caliber issues, but the 130,000-pound star himself is also frustrated.

“Palmer is also frustrated because I want to be able to play in the World Cup at the end of the season,” Phillips continued.

“This won’t become public knowledge again, but I think it’s factual because of how good my Palmer sources are. They obviously don’t want it to look like a negligent decision to keep playing Palmer.”

Although Chelsea has no plans to dismiss Maresca, Phillips suggests that if things escalate further, he can decide to walk his own coincidence if things escalate further, as he is reported to be “not totally happy” about “many things.”

That being said, there’s no doubt about the scenario for now, as Maresca would lose seriously financially if he did that, despite “many clubs line up for him.”

Just a few months ago, former Pep Guardiola students were celebrating back-to-back trophy victories with victory in the Conference League and Club World Cup. We believe he should be given more time to turn things around, and Chelsea plans to support Maresca in January with a much-needed centre-back signature.

It should be some way to ease the relationship between Maresca and Chelsea hierarchy, but the good running of the game is also incredible at changing moods.
