West Ham United are already creating under new manager Nuno Espírito Santo as they prepare to make changes during the January transfer period.
According to Fichajes, the Hammer is preparing to pursue Christian Pulisic, the international winger in the US, as an important addition to increasing attack options.
Pulisic joined Chelsea in 2019 and played for the Blues until 2023.
Under Nuno, West Ham appears eager to make immediate changes rather than simply maintaining continuity.
West Ham United are looking for the depth of their attack
The interest reported to Pulisic makes sense as Hammer needs players with a hard-paced position to contribute to goals and those who can share loads with Jarrod Bowen.
Pulisic has had a somewhat inconsistent career in recent seasons, characterized by injuries and fluctuating playtime. However, his pace and ability to score goals in a wide position are beneficial for the struggling Premier League side.
Additionally, fresh offensive presence may help reduce pressure on other forwards and inject unpredictability into West Ham’s crime.
The US international attacker has signed a contract in Milan, which runs until 2027, with the Italian side not intending to let players leave the club anytime soon.
Pulisic was impressed with AC Milan
Milan has gotten off to a great start to the new season. The Italian giants are currently at the top of the Serie rankings after beating Napoli 2-1 over the weekend.
Pulisic was on Rossoneri’s scoresheet in a big game with Napoli.
The 27-year-old had a productive season in Milan in 2024/25, scoring 17 goals in all competitions.
It’s obvious to see why Nuno is keen to bring players back into the Premier League. The new manager is ready to offload James Ward-Prowse and wants a new player with team creativity.
However, as Purisic competes for the Serie A title in Italy and plays a major role in the team there, it is rarely he will take part in West Ham and the fight for relegation.
