Bayern Munich defender Deiot Upamecano has been linked to travelling from Germany, and Liverpool is interested in him.

According to a report by Fichajes, they will face competition between Real Madrid and Barcelona. The 26-year-old French defender has been inconsistent since joining the German champions. It will be interesting to see if he can regain consistency with the shape of his peak. There’s no doubt he has the technical attributes and physicality that will do well in the Premier League. If he can return to his best, he could be a quality acquisition of Liverpool.

Ibrahima Connate leaves the club at the end of the season when his contract expires. Liverpool will need to properly replace him, and signing his fellow countrymen could prove to be a wise decision.

It will be interesting to see if they can get trades across the line. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also monitoring his situation. The two Spanish clubs need more depth in their defensive forces, and French International could be a useful acquisition. The 26-year-old is clearly a player in demand. It’s not yet known where he will end.

Despite his contradictions, he is a quality player and has received high praise throughout Europe. He would want to join a big club, but he can consistently compete for major trophies. All three clubs prove to be exciting destinations.

At age 26, this may be the right time for Upamecano to try new challenges. The move to the Premier League and La Liga could be an interesting opportunity for him. It is still unknown what he has decided.
