At Manchester United, it has become clear how much it will cost to fire a manager as Reuben Amorim is increasing pressure.

The latest in Ruben Amorim’s Man Utd Future

While a victory over Chelsea seemed like a faint hope for many, the reality is that it simply put a crack in the Amorim, which had been a historically disastrous tenure, on paper. The victory over Brentford sums up his 11-month spell as a succession of winning the former sports club boss in the Premier League for the first time in the Premier League, and the Red Devils lost in West London.

Now it’s all turning to visit Old Trafford and Sunderland. If they lose, that may be the case for Amorim, who still refuses to change the system, which has won just nine Premier League victories in 33 matches.

As pressure increased, questions naturally came to the point that there were questions that led to Gareth Southgate and Oliver Glasner, such as those who could replace Old Trafford’s Amorim.

Southgate has left his job since leaving the England post and is reported as a candidate to replace Amorim if his manager loses his job at Man United.

That said, he’s not the only one on the list. He also reports on Crystal Palace Manager Glasner, who took the Eagles to European football and took them on a stunning, unbeaten run in 19 games. If the Red Devils want someone who can change the side of the Premier League, he’s their guy.

But how much it would cost to quickly steal the Austrian from his role in the palace, it is soon another question, and already cost enough to plunder Amorim.

How much does it cost to loot Amorim?

When it comes to summer signing, Ineos not only put everything in the manager, but also helped the Portuguese coach off when negotiating the contract. Now, after the miserable spell, it is reportedly cost £12 million to loot Amorim in what should be considered a nightmare of Ir Jim Ratcliffe.

It also continues a shocking trend for Man United as Sir Alex Ferguson raises the termination costs to £81.8 million by releasing Amorim from missions. Due to the context of how incredibly poor the record is, Liverpool paid £75 million in 2018 to sign Virgil van Dik.

When Ineos first hired Amorim, it was their first big call, and many supported it. He was a young and impressive candidate. Now, 11 months later, their first decision seems destined to end with an expensive failure.
