Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that it was a knee crash and that Norway International had to break away. He further explained that the player does not look positive after the injury blow.

Martin Odegaard’s Mikel Arteta Update

Arteta said (h/t ben Dinnidy): “I think it was a knee impact with Martin and he doesn’t look very positive at the moment.”

It will be interesting to see if the midfielder can quickly return to action. He is a key player for the club and Arsenal wouldn’t want to lose them for quite some time.

The injury issue derailed last season’s title race, and Arsenal wants some luck in terms of this injury. Midfielders want to get back to action as soon as possible. The true extent of the damage has not been determined yet, and it remains to be seen how the situation will develop.

Meanwhile, this update will certainly make Arsenal fans worried. Despite Arsenal signing Ebeki Eze, Odegard is an essential asset to them. He is one of the main sources of their creativity. He can make a big difference for them in the final third, and his return to quick action is important to their hopes of winning major trophies.

Arsenal has been formidable this season and they really started the season well. They hope to win the league title and the UEFA Champions League. They were very busy during the summer windows and they have greatly improved their team.
