SHANGHAI — Minami Katsu followed up her course-record 61 with a 4-under 68 on Saturday and holds a two-stroke lead heading into Sunday’s final round of the Buick LPGA Shanghai.

On Friday, Katsu made a long putt on the 18th and finished with an 11-under 61. On Saturday, Masaru finished 54 holes at Keinaka Garden Golf Club Course with a total of 17 under par, 199.

Minjee Lee, who won her third major title at the KPMG Women’s Golf Championship in June, shot a 65 on Saturday, including a birdie on the final hole, to tie for second place with world No. 1 Gino Titikul, who shot a 66.

Lee started the round with a bogey and a par 3.

“I got off to a bit of a slow start, so I’m glad I was able to get a birdie in the middle and finish with a good score for tomorrow,” Lee said.

The Shanghai Games are the first of five to be held in Asia. South Korea will host two weeks including the International Crown Team event, while Malaysia and Japan will host other tournaments.
