Tottenham are in contact to sign ‘complete’ fast winger ahead of Rangers

Tottenham are in contact with the “perfect” young player over a move to the club, with stiff competition from a number of other clubs, including Scottish giants Rangers.

Tottenham receive £100m cash injection

It’s been a positive start to life in north London for Thomas Frank, with Spurs enjoying a good overall run in the Premier League and sitting third in the table.

Tottenham have now received a fresh boost after owner Enick, who is managed by the Lewis Family Trust, injected £100m into the club to “further strengthen the club’s financial position and provide the club’s leadership team with additional resources to continue to focus on driving long-term success in the sport”.

A source close to Spurs added: “This is the first additional funding. More funding will become available as the club’s management determines what is needed to deliver success. The Lewis family is fully committed to supporting the club’s success.”

This will be music to the ears of the fan base who feel that life after Daniel Levy is on track and will need to spend their money wisely towards a new contract down the road. A player has been named as a potential option for the North Londoner.

Writing in X, journalist Rudi Galetti claims that Tottenham have made contact with AS Trencin winger Sani Suleiman after beating the likes of Rangers and Bayer Leverkusen.

Not much is known about Suleiman given his age and where he currently plays, but he could be an exciting long-term signing for Spurs as he can shine on both wings. The report states that he was impressed with his speed, creativity and ability to influence the game.

At just 19 years old, he has already scored 15 goals at the top level and won three caps for Nigeria’s Under-20s, with Galetti himself recently describing him as “perfect”.

It is always important for Spurs to plan for the future rather than simply focusing on the present, and signing a player of Suleiman’s caliber and potential is essential.

Admittedly, it’s difficult to predict the trajectory of a young player who has so many hurdles to clear in his career, from injuries to consistency, but if Frank and the club’s recruitment team see him as a good option, they need to be trusted.
