Marcus Rashford joined the La Liga giants from Man Utd in the summer and is having a great time at Barcelona. It is reported that his time at Old Trafford will officially end in 2026, having impressed his current loan club since arriving.

Rashford had a slow start at Barcelona, but has become our best attacker in recent weeks. He is showing shades of his best form at Man United, which has left some supporters perplexed, but the man himself has explained why.

Speaking to ITV (via SPORTbible), Rashford claimed the atmosphere at Man United makes it difficult for him to play his best on a regular basis.

“Certainly, consistency is a big part of it. I feel like I’ve been in an inconsistent environment for a very long time, so it’s even harder to be consistent. But I totally agree. I think consistency is something that I need to bring to my game, and that’s what I strive for.”

“You want to be at your best as often as possible, not just once in a while. When people talk about consistency, being consistent in anything, not just sports, requires consistent variables in your life and how you train.

“There have been so many changes in my career so far, but I have to move forward. It’s definitely one of the things I want to fix and improve to be at my best more often. When I’m at my best, I really enjoy everything about this sport.”

Manchester United will blame Rashford for his poor form, but in the end that is likely to matter little when the two sides part ways, which is expected to happen sooner rather than later.
