“I had a great time at Annika last November and was able to participate in the Pro-Am with Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game,” Clark said in a statement. “I am honored to be an ambassador for Gainbridge, a company that is committed to advancing women’s sports. I can’t wait to return to Tampa in November to play in the Pro-Am with some of the best women’s golfers in the world.”
Annika, hosted by World Golf and LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam, is the LPGA Tour’s final full-field regular season event of the 2025 season, with a purse of $3.25 million.
“It was an honor to play in the Pro-Am with Caitlin last year. The crowd was amazing and I look forward to her return to Annika in November,” Sorenstam said in a statement. “She added a great dynamic to our event. It was fun to witness firsthand her passion for golf and competition. I look forward to her return and continuing to introduce the great game of golf to the next generation.”
Clark, a star at Iowa State and the all-time leading scorer in college basketball, has taken the WNBA by storm since being drafted No. 1 by the Indiana Fever in 2024. She was the WNBA Rookie of the Year, a first-team All-WNBA player, and set the record for most assists by a rookie. In his second year, he played in only 13 games due to injury.

Her presence at The Annika last year attracted a huge crowd that numbered in the thousands. There was a lot of interest, so The Athletic He even sent a video of Clark’s swing to a golf coach for analysis. What is the breakdown? Clark doesn’t load his hands properly, but he has the athleticism to generate good club speed.
