HAINAN, South Korea — Ten-year LPGA Tour veteran Sei-young Kim posted a four-stroke victory at the BMW Ladies Championship on Sunday, carding a final-round 67 to hold off her final-round challengers.

This was Kim’s 13th career title since joining the tour in 2015, ending a five-year drought since her last tournament win at the Women’s PGA Championship in 2020.

The 32-year-old Kim finished with a four-round total of 24-under 264 at Pine Beach Golf Links on the Korean peninsula, with the South Korean missing just one shot on the par-3 third and making six birdies over the rest of the round to comfortably keep her closest rival, Nasa Hataoka, at bay.

Japan’s Hataoka also posted a final-round 67 to finish at 20-under 268, with Celine Boutier (67) and Kim Ah-rim (66) a further two strokes behind in third place.

Defending champion Hannah Green shot a 66 and tied for fifth place with America’s Yearimi Noh (70) at 17-under 271. Fellow American Lindy Duncan (age 65) was in a three-way tie for seventh place with South Korea’s Choi Hye-jin (age 63) and Ahn Narin (age 63), who shared the last round of the day, and was one stroke behind.

Gino Titicle became the first multiple winner on the LPGA this season when he won a five-hole playoff over Minami Katsu in Shanghai last week. Titikul did not play this week but will be part of Thailand’s squad at next week’s International Crown.

After the International Crown, the five-tournament Asian Swing will feature two more LPGA events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Japan.
