The PGA Tour Champions postseason is in full swing, with the second of three Charles Schwab Cup Playoff events approaching.

Seventy-two people qualified for the first event, and just 54 qualified for this week’s Simmons Bank Championship. From there, the field is trimmed one last time for the finale.

Here’s what you need to know about the second round of the 2025 Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs.

In fact, Harrington is a two-time defending champion and will be looking to improve on his current position of sixth in the points standings.

There are two notable players not on the field. Bernhard Langer is 24th in points and Kevin Sutherland is 45th. There will be 52 players on the field this week.

For the second year in a row, Pleasant Valley Country Club will be the venue. The par-72 golf course plays 7,101 yards this week. Joe Finger designed the course, with Jimmy Demaret and Byron Nelson as consultants. It opened in 1968.
