Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing talented Leeds United young midfielder Sam Alker.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the German club are pursuing the talented midfielder ahead of his 17th birthday and could make a move to sign him.

Leeds must keep Sam Alker

Leeds won’t want to lose a talented young player like him. They have recently been successful in developing several young players and are looking to build a strong team for the future. Losing Alkar will be a blow to them. Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen are also keeping an eye on his development.

The player has been offered a professional contract by Leeds but has not yet signed. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop. The midfielder cannot officially sign with a German club until he turns 18, but Leeds hope to persuade him to sign a professional contract.

Alkar is a strong candidate

Alker can play as either an attacking midfielder or a central midfielder. He is a technically gifted midfielder with vision and flair in the game. With the right guidance, he could develop into an important first-team player for Leeds United.

It’s no surprise that German clubs are keen on signing him. He would be a solid long-term investment for both clubs. The opportunity to join a club like Dortmund or Leverkusen could be very exciting for the young midfielder. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop.
