President Donald Trump’s granddaughter will participate in the Annika LPGA Tour event at Pelican Golf Club in Bellaire, Florida, next month.
Kai Trump, who plans to attend the University of Miami next year, received a sponsor exemption to compete in the penultimate event on the 2025 LPGA schedule, Nov. 13-16.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark will compete in the event’s Pro-Am for the second year in a row.

Trump, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., is currently a senior at Benjamin School in Palm Beach County, Florida, and currently competes in junior and amateur tournaments with the Junior Golf Association of America and the South Florida PGA.
Kai Trump’s appeal to appeal to a younger demographic, with more than 6 million followers on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X, played a role in the exemption offer.
“Kai’s wide fan base and reach is helping us introduce golf to new audiences, especially among younger fans,” LPGA Tour Director of Business and Operations Ricky Lasky said in a statement. “We look forward to watching her take the next step in her journey.”
Nelly Korda is the event’s defending champion, having won the tournament three of the past four years.
