The pace of the 2025 FedExCup fall season has slowed compared to the past two seasons. With a few weeks off involved and one fewer tournament than a year ago, the fall swing is meandering through the calendar with less urgency.

That all changes over the next three weeks, as three tournaments fill the schedule, as well as the remaining three of the PGA Tour season. The Worldwide Technology Championship, Bermuda Championship and RSM Classic will put players’ job security and the status of the PGA Tour under the microscope as they host players competing for various positions in the FedEx Cup standings.

At this time of year, two major checkpoints are in focus: the top 60 and top 100 in the FedEx Cup rankings. Athletes who finish 51st to 60th in races throughout the season will be given a slight head start in 2026, with automatic berths to the first two marquee events at AT&T Pebble Beach and Genesis Invitational through Aon Next 10.

Players who finish within the top 100 will be granted the right to play full-time on the PGA Tour as well as a spot in a full-field event in 2026. This group of players will face a tough battle as their chances dwindle, but they keep fighting.

As the 2025 PGA Tour season draws to a close, let’s take a look at some of the names looking to break out of these bubbles for the next three tournaments.
