Liverpool are reported to be making a bid for Bournemouth’s in-form attacking star Antoine Semenyo.

The Reds have had a busy summer, signing big names such as Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike, but it looks like they’re not done yet.

According to journalist Indi Kaira, Liverpool are expected to continue targeting big names over the next two periods.

Semenyo is one of them, as seen in Kaira’s post on X below, and it is certainly no surprise to see this exciting Ghanaian international attracting interest from big clubs like Liverpool following his recent impressive performances in the Premier League…

It is not entirely clear whether Semenyo will be signed in January or next summer, but the 25-year-old appears to be a key part of Liverpool’s plans for the next two periods.

The transfer of Antoine Semenyo seems to be very important for Liverpool as Mohamed Salah’s form has deteriorated.

Just a few months ago, it would probably have been difficult to see Semenyo integrating into Liverpool, as there was fierce competition for Arne Slott’s place in the front three.

Still, the season has not started well for LFC, with Mohamed Salah’s dramatic decline in form being a particular concern.

The Egyptian international missed the majority of last season and is currently struggling for confidence, with just three goals and two assists in the league so far, compared to Semenyo’s six goals and three…

Semenyo now looks like a potential upgrade to Salah, as well as a long-term replacement for the aging forward.

It’s easy to see Semenyo making an immediate impact upon arrival and turning Liverpool into an attacking threat once again.

After the club’s disastrous run of six defeats in their last seven competitive matches, it is clear that something needs to change as soon as possible.
