Aston Villa have emerged as favorites to sign Real Madrid’s Brazilian prodigy Endrick on loan in the January transfer window, according to Birmingham Live.

The 19-year-old forward was once hailed as one of the brightest talents in world football, but is now said to be pushing for a temporary move from the Bernabéu in a bid to play regularly.

Villa are currently focusing on strengthening their attacking options after signing Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott in the summer transfer window.

Sancho is yet to find the back of the net since arriving at Birmingham, while Elliott has failed to make a consistent impact under Unai Emery, leaving the club’s recruitment team looking for additional attacking reinforcements.

Endrik becomes increasingly dissatisfied with his situation in Spain. Despite joining Real Madrid on a deal worth up to £63.4 million, the young Brazilian is finding it difficult to get first-team opportunities.

Under manager Carlo Ancelotti, he was sometimes brought on from the bench to gain experience, but since Xabi Alonso took over as manager in the summer, his playing time has significantly decreased.

Endrik reportedly told his agent that unless there is a “drastic change” to his role at the club, he must leave on loan.

The player hopes to continue his development and play regular football in order to secure a spot in Brazil’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Several European clubs, including Manchester United and Aston Villa, have contacted Endrick’s team to explore the possibility of a loan deal.

Meanwhile, the relationship between Crystal Palace and Borussia Dortmund is also loose, but Villa’s strong sporting project and Premier League platform could make them a more attractive short-term destination.

The next few months could be important for Endrick. Having struggled to find space in Real Madrid’s star-studded frontline, a loan spell in England could give him both the exposure and competitive experience he needs to reignite his rising career.
