The opportunity to move to Chelsea would be an exciting one for the player. They are one of the best clubs in the world and could provide him with a platform to fight for trophies on a regular basis.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will inherit their interest and finalize a deal with a formal offer.

They have already started contacting but have not yet followed up with an offer.

Boca Juniors may not want to lose him so soon, but they could be tempted if the right offer comes along. They cannot afford to turn down a premium offer for young talent.

Delgado could develop into a quality player for them in the future.
