Leeds United are now under huge pressure after a disappointing start to the season.
They hope to maintain their status as a Premier League club by the end of the season, but they need to improve to maintain that status. They won’t want to go back to the championship.
Can Daniel Farke turn things around?
Manager Daniel Farke is also under enormous pressure to turn things around. According to a report in the Daily Mail, he has four games left to keep his job. Leeds United must produce impressive results against Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in the coming weeks. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to bounce back strongly.
These are difficult games for Leeds United and they will need to significantly increase their performance level if they are to pick up important points. If results do not improve in the coming weeks, Falke could be shown the way.
Falke needs improvement
Leeds are currently very close to the relegation zone and will not want to stay there for the next few weeks. The club’s leaders have backed the manager with quality players over the summer and they will now be looking to get the results they want on the pitch.
Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in the country and should be competing in the top flight. If the manager is unable to get the best out of his team, it would be ideal for the club hierarchy to make the necessary changes ahead of the January transfer window.
Farke has proven his quality in English football with several clubs and will look to lead Leeds to a respectable position in the table. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop.
