Leeds have fallen down the Premier League table in recent weeks, leading to increased speculation over the future of Daniel Farke, who could soon be sacked as first-team manager.
Falke, who was linked with a possible replacement in the summer despite leading Leeds to the Championship, is under increasing pressure at Elland Road after losing four of his five Premier League games. His successor has already been decided, and the same can be said about the German’s next job.
Daniel Farke likely to return to Norwich this season
According to EFL All Access (via Inside Futbol), manager Adrian Clarke said Farke is the ideal manager to steady the ship at Norwich, who led them to the Premier League in 2021.
“Daniel Farke is probably the answer to those (questions), right? All Leeds need is probably to pull the trigger on Daniel Farke so he can come home and turn Norwich around, because I’m sure at some stage this season Leeds might look at making a change. He would be the ideal person to come back and sort of save this team.”
Norwich recently sacked Liam Manning and are looking for a new manager. Falke has a proven track record at Carrow Road, so it would be no surprise if there was interest in hiring him. But they will have to wait as he is still in charge at Leeds for the time being.
The next few weeks will be crucial in determining whether Farke continues as Leeds manager. Aston Villa head to Elland Road after the international break and a win would take some pressure off their shoulders.
