  • There is a termination clause in Selous Guirassi’s contract.
  • Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal to face Saudi Arabia

Borussia Dortmund striker Selhaw Guirassi could be on the move again, with TEAMtalk reporting that the prolific 29-year-old is preparing to consider his options ahead of the January transfer window.

Guirassi has been attracting a lot of attention due to the release clause included in his contract, which the European giants are already preparing to activate.

Guirassy has established himself as one of Europe’s most reliable finishers over the past two seasons.

The striker has scored seven goals in 15 appearances in all competitions this season.

Last season, he played in 50 games and scored 38 goals.

There is a termination clause in Selous Guirassi’s contract.

A modest release clause is set to be triggered in January, with clubs at the top of the Premier League food chain being contacted about a potential deal.

TEAMtalk has named Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United as clubs that could be given the chance to sign Guirassi.

Liverpool are looking for depth behind Alexander Isak as the Swede continues to struggle with fitness.

Arsenal remain in the market for a clinical and experienced striker who can compete with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz. However, it is clear that Victor Gokeres will remain the starting striker.

Manchester City are looking for more rotation depth behind Erling Haaland in what is expected to be a long and tough season.

Chelsea are looking to solve their long-standing centre-forward problem and see Guirassy as a short-term but solid goal option.

However, Man United’s interest is complicated. The Red Devils value Guirassi’s ability and experience highly, but their level of involvement in the race will depend entirely on how signing him impacts Benjamin Sesco’s development and minutes.

The Slovenian striker only joined the Red Devils in the summer transfer window and signing a new attacker could have a negative impact on his development.

Adding to the intrigue, transfer expert Nicolò Sylla reports that Guirassi is waiting for lucrative offers outside Europe.

The Saudi club are said to be “ready” to offer him a three-year contract worth a staggering €20 million per season and a total of €60 million.

Although such an offer may tempt many players, Guirassi is thought to still prefer to compete in Europe’s top leagues.
