Crystal Palace signed Crisstantus Uche from Getafe in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old joined the club on loan but has yet to secure a place in the starting lineup. The Nigeria international is unlikely to get regular minutes at the London club, with manager Alan Nixon now insisting he is open to sending the player back to Spain.

Crisstantas Uche needs a move

The versatile attacker needs to play regularly and a return to Getafe could be ideal for him. It’s clear he won’t get a chance at an English club. Oliver Glasner doesn’t seem to like this player. A January move would be ideal for all parties.

Crystal Palace had the option of signing the player permanently for £17m at the end of the season, but that seems highly unlikely at this point. The player has not been able to impress in England and has failed to impress Crystal Palace with his performances in training.

He needs a fresh start to get his career back on track, and a return to Spain might be ideal. Getafe also does not consider him a key player, so it will be interesting to see if they can find a new home for him in January.

In any case, it makes no sense for the player to stay at Crystal Palace. He won’t want to sit on the bench for the rest of the season. He should look for a new club where he can get more opportunities and get his career back on track.

There is no doubt that he has the qualities to compete at a high level and joining the right team will bring out the best in him again.
