Tottenham Hotspur has officially confirmed an agreement with SK Brann to sign attacking midfielder Sini Gauset during the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in women’s soccer, having made her debut with the Blanc team at just 16 years old. She will reunite with her former manager Martin Ho upon her arrival in North London.

A Norwegian international, Gauset made her senior debut against Croatia in February 2024 and participated in Euro 2025, where she scored twice in the group stage against Iceland and received a nomination for the Golden Girl Trophy, although Norway was eliminated early.

“After discussing the club’s vision and project, I felt it was a great opportunity,” Gauset stated on the club’s website. “This is a perfect environment for me to improve as a player and reach my full potential.

“Knowing Martin (Ho) as a coach helps because I understand what to expect. We have a great working relationship, and his high demands motivate me. I believe he can help me elevate my game even further.”

Coach Ho expressed his excitement: “We are delighted to welcome Sini to Tottenham Hotspur. Not only is she an outstanding player, but also a remarkable individual. Her drive, professionalism, and character will be a great addition to our team.”

“Signe brings creativity in possession and energy in duels, as well as a strong ability to shift momentum during one-on-one situations. Her game intelligence, athleticism, and mentality will greatly enhance our team’s identity and style.

“Given her potential, it’s no surprise she attracted interest from other clubs, so we’re incredibly proud she chose our project and trusts our vision for the team’s future. We eagerly anticipate the impact she will make with Tottenham Hotspur Women.”
