Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all interested in signing Zeki Selik from Italian club Roma.
The 28-year-old full-back is out of contract at the end of this season, but has not yet renewed his contract with the Italian team. He will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season. He will likely be able to sign a pre-contract with an overseas club in January.
Manchester United and Arsenal wanted to sign Selik several years ago.
Multiple clubs are keen on Zeki Selik
According to a report from TEAMtalk, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have approached the player about a potential move. Manchester City and Arsenal are also interested in him. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.
The 28-year-old could be a very lucrative signing for all five clubs. However, Arsenal have a strong defensive team and he will struggle to earn regular minutes. It might make more sense for him to join four other clubs.
Liverpool have not been able to fill the void left by Trent Alexander-Arnold. It will be interesting to see if they can convince Selik to join the club. Jeremy Frimpong and Conor Bradley have been plagued by injuries and have been inconsistent.
Similarly, Chelsea need more depth in that area of the pitch. Reece James and Malo Gusto have poor availability records.
Manchester United already have Diogo Dalot and Nouser Mazraoui. It will be interesting to see if they sign this player.
Where will Serik end up?
Selik will aim to join a club where he is likely to have more opportunities. It remains to be seen what he will decide. The opportunity to move to the Premier League would be very exciting for him. It would be a big step up at this stage of his career. He has the ability to do well in English football and could be a useful player.
