  • Top clubs are chasing Crystal Palace star Munoz
  • Munoz is interested in changing jobs.

Crystal Palace defender Daniel Muñoz has publicly revealed his ambition to play for one of Europe’s elite clubs, naming Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain as dream destinations.

The Colombian international’s comments come at a time when speculation over his future has intensified, with several of Europe’s leading teams reportedly preparing to sign the 29-year-old right-back.

Muñoz admitted that reaching the top level of European football was always his ultimate goal.

“I have big dreams. I’ve always wanted to play for a club like Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester United.” he said. “I know what I have to work towards to get there. Every game is another step towards that dream.”

His comments followed a report by Colombian media outlet Bolavip that revealed that Chelsea, Barcelona and PSG have already been in contact with the player’s agent.

The report also added that Manchester City and Inter Milan are among the growing list of clubs monitoring his situation.

Since joining Crystal Palace from Genk, Munoz has become one of the Premier League’s most consistent performers.

His tireless work rate, active defense and attacking contribution on the right flank has contributed to Palace’s defensive stability under manager Oliver Glasner.

His performances have made him one of the most reliable full-backs in the division and one of the few South American defenders to adapt seamlessly to the pace and physicality of English football.

According to Boravip, Palace are under no financial pressure to sell and Munoz’s contract runs until 2028, with an option for a further year.

However, the company is willing to negotiate if there are serious bids, and the asking price is thought to be more than 40 million euros (approximately 3.4 billion yen).

The valuation is considered high considering the player’s age, but Palace are determined not to lose one of their leaders on the pitch for below market value.

The Colombian international, who turns 30 in May, is said to be carefully considering his next step.

He reportedly wants to join a club that can offer regular Champions League football, a clear sporting project and a chance to compete for major trophies.

This stance has eliminated some of the mid-tier teams in the standings, although there is interest, as Munoz looks to make the final big move of his career.

Chelsea are in contact with Palace about the possibility of signing the right-back, according to Mark Blass, who was caught offside.
